gluon --help prints this (the agent list at the end is the built-in catalog).

Section titled “Commands”| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
gluon doctor |
Check every agent, model and brain step for real (calls the models: it can cost money). |
gluon setup |
Connect your coding agents (API key or subscription). |
gluon brain |
Show the intake agent order (brain.order) and the step in use. |
gluon connect |
Connect or reconnect one agent: gluon connect <harness>. |
gluon install |
Install missing agents with their official installers; shows each command and runs it only if you say so. |
gluon uninstall |
Remove Gluon’s config, saved keys and files (and the binary, on a standalone install). |
gluon resume |
Reopen a saved workspace: its sessions pick up where they were. |
gluon sessions |
List the saved sessions (workspaces) of every directory; --delete <id> removes one. |
gluon routing |
check validates routing.yaml, path prints where it is, default prints the one this Gluon ships. |
gluon cost-report |
What Gluon’s own cost figures were audited against (no model calls). |
gluon pricing |
pricing update rebuilds the price tables from your installed agents and Claude’s public model catalog. |
gluon stats |
What Gluon recorded about your launched sessions (a local file): time and cost per agent, model, day or repository, the newest sessions, one session in full, a read-only SQL query. |
A first word that is none of these starts a session with it as the first message: quote it, as in gluon "fix the failing test".
| Flag | Short | Takes | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
--launch |
value | Skip the chat and launch this agent directly (--model is required; the prompt follows --). |
|
--model |
value | The model for --launch: an id from the catalog that the agent’s connection serves. |
|
--effort |
value | The effort for --launch, one of the levels the model takes. |
|
--mode |
value | With --launch: build (the default), explore (read-only) or plan (the agent’s plan mode). |
|
--dry-run |
flag | With --launch: print the command instead of running it. |
|
--all |
flag | With gluon resume and gluon sessions: every directory’s saved sessions, not just this one’s. |
|
--force |
flag | With gluon resume and gluon sessions --delete: even while another Gluon has the workspace open. |
|
--delete |
value | With gluon sessions: delete one saved workspace by id (asks first). |
|
--demo |
flag | Open the same UI with a scripted intake agent (no API calls). | |
--help |
-h |
flag | Print the usage text and exit. |
--version |
-v |
flag | Print Gluon’s version and exit. |
A prompt that starts with - goes after --: gluon --launch <harness> --model <m> -- "- the prompt". gluon sessions --delete <id> also takes --yes (delete without asking, for use without a terminal), and gluon uninstall takes --yes too.
gluon pricing update
Section titled “gluon pricing update”gluon pricing update
Rebuilds Gluon's price and window tables now, as Gluon does in the background when it starts and when it launches an agent: prices frommodels.dev and OpenRouter's public listing (the only network use: models.dev and openrouter.ai), windows and Claude's catalog andprices from your own installed Codex, Grok Build and Claude Code. Prints what was written and which prices moved;a big move is taken, a malformed row is skipped and named, a table that fails its checks (or has lost most of its models) is refused (exit 1). Offline, the tables you have stay (exit 1, it says so). They are kept in Gluon's statedirectory (`~/.local/state/gluon/tables`; `%LOCALAPPDATA%\gluon\tables` on Windows), where Gluon reads them. It never edits the Gluon install or any repository; 'gluon uninstall' removes them.gluon stats
Section titled “gluon stats”gluon stats [options]gluon stats sessions [options]gluon stats <id>gluon stats sql "<query>"gluon stats --delete [--yes]
What Gluon recorded about the sessions it launched, from the local file <state dir>/analytics.db (never sent anywhere). gluon stats per agent: sessions, time, cost and sessions that never reported an end gluon stats sessions the newest sessions: id, start, duration, agent/model/effort/mode, cost, status, repository, name gluon stats <id> one session in full, with the spec it was given: a unique id prefix (4+ characters) or the agent's own session id gluon stats sql "<q>" one read-only SELECT, WITH, EXPLAIN or VALUES statement against the table 'sessions'; it is stopped after 10 s, returns at most 10000 rows (it says when it cut: add a LIMIT), uses at most 256 MB gluon stats --delete delete every recorded session (asks first; --yes without a terminal)
options: --by agent|model|day|repo group the summary by this (default agent) --agent <harness> only this agent --repo <text> only sessions whose repository or directory contains this text (any case) --since <when> only sessions started at or after it --until <when> only sessions started at or before it <when>: 2026-01-31 (local day), 2026-01-31T14:30, or 7d, 24h, 2w, 30m ago --limit <n> rows shown for the summary and the session list (default 50) --json machine-readable output --yes with --delete: don't ask -h, --help this text
'analytics: off' in the config stops the recording; 'gluon uninstall' removes the file.
